Sires Hill Primary Academy - opened September 2023

The Omnia Learning Trust is delighted to have opened its fourth brand new primary school and nursery. 

The new school serves a new housing development of 1,880 homes in Northeast Didcot, construction of which is underway. This school forms part of the strategic planning for additional school capacity to meet the expected growth in pupil numbers arising from housing growth both permitted and planned in the South Oxfordshire Local Plan.

The Omnia Learning Trust already has a strong presence in the Didcot area, since opening Didcot Primary Academy as a brand-new school in September 2016. The school was judged ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in 2019 and is now full in every year group.

The new school is called ‘Sires Hill Primary Academy’ due to its location and opened in September 2023 with 30 places in Reception and up to 45 places in the Nursery. Alison Ashcroft, founding Principal of Didcot Primary Academy, is the Executive Head of both schools.
